Lutron Caseta Wireless Switches:
A Recent Installation
Wireless switches???? What??
Yeah, I get that reaction a lot! When I tell homeowners they can control their lights without running new wires, they look at me like I’m pulling their leg. But thanks to Lutron Caseta switches, it’s absolutely possible.
Why This Project Worked
This homeowner wanted to upgrade their lighting but didn’t want the hassle of tearing into walls for new wiring. Lutron Caseta was the perfect solution—professional-grade smart switches that actually work reliably.
We set them up with:
- Dimming control from anywhere in the house
- Voice control through their existing Alexa
- Scheduled lighting for security when they’re away
- Remote access from their smartphones
The Result
Happy homeowners who can’t believe they waited this long to upgrade. They’re already planning to add more switches in other rooms.
I’ve been serving Dover and the surrounding area since 2006, and I’d love to help with your next electrical project—whether it’s smart switches, landscape lighting, or a complete upgrade.

Bathroom Lighting Upgrade & Safety Inspection
Bathroom Lighting
This bathroom lighting project for Stephanie Elaine was DiFonzo Electric LLC’s very first customer project. We relocated the vanity light fixture (which was mounted 10″ too low), replaced the wall switch, and rewired the circuit to control both the mirror light and an additional fixture. While completing this work, we discovered and corrected multiple electrical safety issues from previous installations, ensuring Stephanie’s home was safe and up to code for her family
Family Room Ceiling Fan
Ceiling Fan
The Right Fan in the Right Place
A properly installed ceiling fan does more than just move air around—it can make a room more comfortable year-round, reduce your energy bills, and add a finished look to your space. That’s exactly what this homeowner was after for their family room.
The Installation
This project was pretty straightforward, but like anything electrical, it had to be done right. I made sure the fan was:
- Properly supported with the right mounting hardware (ceiling fans need more support than a regular light fixture)
- Correctly balanced to prevent wobbling and noise
- Wired safely to code for long-term, reliable operation
- Positioned for optimal air circulation in the room
